Paneer Butter Masala
Restaurant butter paneer is everyone's favorite dish, right? But why not cook restaurant-style butter paneer at home in an easy way and short time?Believe me, it's so easy to achieve that taste. Just in a few steps. Just follow my recipe and see the magic.

Time: 50 minutes
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- Oil :3 tbsp
- Butter: 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
- Onion: 1 cup
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Bay Leaves: 2
- 2” stick Cinnamon: 1
- Cloves:5
- Black Cardamom 1
- Peppercorn 1 tsp
- Tomatoes:1 cup chopped
- Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder :1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste :1 tbsp
- Tomato Puree:5 tbsp
- Paneer, cottage cheese: 300 g
- Kasuri Methi :1 tsp
- Cream:2 tbsp
Preparation:
- Chop onion and tomatoes separately.
- Cut the paneer and cottage cheese into cubes.
Recipe:
- Heat Oil in a pan to medium-hot.
- Add 1 tbsp Butter and melt the butter.
- Add the cumin seeds and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped onions, 1tsp Salt and cook for approximately 7-8 minutes or till the onion starts turning a golden color.
- Add 2 bay leaves, and the whole spices, and cook till the onion acquires a nice golden color.
- Add 1 cup of chopped Tomatoes and red chili powder. Mix in, cover, and cook over low heat for 7-8 minutes till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
- Add in the turmeric, coriander powder, and the ginger garlic paste. Cook till the raw ginger garlic smell disappears.
- Cool and transfer mix in the blender to make a coarse paste.
- Return the paste to the pan, and add the tomato puree.
- Cook over medium heat till the masala lets out the fat.
- Add in the paneer pieces, Kasuri Methi, and the Cream and cook over low heat and cook covered for 4-5 minutes till the paneer takes in the flavors.
- Ready to serve
Garnish:- Garnish with Kasuri methi, and cream, and top with Butter to serve. Do garnishing properly, because a dish should look appetizing.
Serve:
- Serve butter paneer with naan, roti, white rice, or paratha.
