Eid Mubarak
Eid-ul -Adha is here. May Allah Almighty accept our sacrifices. Today I'm going to share a very yummy dish for your dinner parties or get-togethers. traditional curry is boring, right so try Mughlai beef curry this time and enjoy!
Time required: 40 minutes
Serves: 5-6 persons
Ingredients:
- Water 1 & ½ Cups or as required
- Turmeric powder:½ tsp
- Salt: 1 tsp or to taste
- Ginger garlic paste: 2 tbs
- Boneless beef cubes: half ½ kg
- Cashew nuts: 15-20
- Desiccated coconut: 2 tbs
- Green chili: 2
- Fresh coriander: 2 tbs
- Mint leaves: 1 tbs
- Lemon juice: 2 tbs
- Water: 2 tbs or as required
- Yogurt: 1 Cup
- Cream: ½ Cup
- Cumin seeds: roasted & crushed 1 tsp
- Red chili powder: ½ tbs or to taste
- Coriander powder: ½ tbs
- Whole spice powder (Garam masala powder): 1 tsp
- Karahi masala: 1 tbs
- Cooking oil: ¼ Cup
- Cooking oil: 2-3 tbs
- Onion) sliced :1 medium
- Water: ¼ Cup or as required
- Dried fenugreek leaves: ½ tbs
- Fresh coriander: chopped
Recipe:
- In a pressure cooker, add water, turmeric powder, salt, and ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Add beef, mix well, and bring it to boil, cover and pressure cook for 15-20 minutes or until meat is tender then cook on high flame until water dries up & set aside.
- In a spice mixer, add cashew nuts, desiccated coconut, green chilies, fresh coriander, mint leaves, lemon juice, and water, blend well & set aside.
- In a bowl, add yogurt, cream, ground cashew paste, cumin seeds, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and karahi kabab masala, and whisk well.
- Now add cooked beef cubes and mix well.
- In a pot add cooking oil and fry beef cubes from all sides until golden brown (4-5 minutes) & set aside (reserve remaining marinade for later use).
- In the same pot, add cooking oil, onion and fry until lightly golden.
- Now add reserved marinade and mix well.
- Add water and mix well, cover, and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes & keep mixing in between.
- Add dried fenugreek leaves and mix well.
- Now add fried beef cubes and give it a good mix.

Garnish with fresh coriander & serve!
