Time: 30 minutes.

Serving: 10 to 13 pieces.  

Ingredients: 

Shera:

  1. Sugar:  1cup
  2. Water: 2cup
  3. Cardamom slightly crushed: 7 to 8

Gulab jamun:

  1. Dry milk: 1cup
  2. Maida (all-purpose flour): 1/2 cup
  3. Baking powder: 1tbs
  4. Cardamom seeds: 1/2 tbs
  5. Ghee: 3 tbs
  6. Milk: 1/4 cup
  7. Ghee for frying.

Recipe:

For sugar syrup(shera):

  • In a pan, add sugar, water, and cardamom.
  • Cook until sugar dissolves in water.

 For Gulab jamun:

  • In a bowl, add dry milk, cardamom, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and mix well.
  • Then add ghee and mix until crumbled.
  • Add milk and mix well for 2 to 3 minutes, then cover and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Wet your hands with water and knead until a smooth dough 
  • Now make small balls of the same size, make sure that they have no crakes.
  • Makeup to   13  balls.
  • In a wok, heat ghee and fry on low flame while stirring gently.
  • Make sure that ghee is not very hot otherwise, Gulab jamun will not cook well from inside or will burn.
  • When gulab jamuns become golden add them directly in hot sugar syrup.
  • And leave it for 30 minutes.
Garnish them with pistachios and serve.
