Roasted chicken is everyone's favorite. Specially oven-baked chicken is not only full of protein and taste but also is low in calories.
And today I'm going to share a very easy but tasty recipe for dinner.
So let's bake steamed chicken.
Time required: 10 mins for preparation 20 minutes for steam and 20 minutes for baking.
Servings: 6 to 9 pieces.
Ingredients:
- Chicken: 1kg (leg pieces)
- Curd or Dahi: half kg
- Red chili flakes: 1tsp
- Red chili powder: 2 tsp
- Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
- Chicken tikka masala: 1 pack
- Green chilies: 4 to 6 chopped
- Black pepper :1 tsp
- Salt: according to taste
- Garlic Ginger paste: 1tsp
- Lemon juice: 2 tsp
- Oil: 4 to 6 tsp
Recipe:
- Firstly take a bowl and add curd or dahi to it. Then beat it for 2 minutes.
- Add all ingredients like salt, peppers, chicken tikka masala, Ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, and turmeric in it. And mix it.
- Now make cuts on chicken pieces with a knife carefully.
- Then add them into the mixture and mix thoroughly. And set the mixture aside for 20 minutes to 2 hours ( marinate according to time you have).
- Add water to a steamer or pot and let it steam. When it starts steaming take a steamer dish if you have a strainer and oil it.
- Now add marinated chicken pieces one by one and steam chicken for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Check when chicken got half done turn flame off. And set chicken aside.
- Heat Oven for 3 to 4 minutes at 100°
- Take the oven tray, grease it and add steamed chicken to it.
- Bake this in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes at 190 ° or set the temperature according to your oven.
- Delicious roast chicken is ready.
- Bone appetite.
