Mutton Curry is a dish full of juiciness and taste. Mutton is very healthy just use less oil in cooking it.

Time required: 30 to 40 minutes.
Servings: 5 to 7 persons
Ingredients :
- Mutton: half kg
- Oil or ghee: 1 cup
- Curd or Dahi: 1 cup
- Onions sliced :3 and a half medium-sized
- Tomatoes : 3 to 4
- Ginger garlic paste: 2 tsp
- Salt:according to taste
- Red pepper powder: 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder :1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Dried fenugreek leaves: 1 pinch
- Red pepper flakes: half tsp
- Green chilies: 6
- Coriander leaves chopped: half cup
- Water:as required
Recipe :
- Add oil to a pot. Add onions & saute for 1 minute. Add mutton, and salt & mix well.
- Cook until mutton gets a light golden color. Add ginger-garlic paste.
- Cook for 2 minutes & stir continuously.
- Add tomatoes, red pepper powder, red pepper flakes, turmeric powder, &water, to the grinder & grind into a fine paste.
- Add this paste to mutton, mix well & cook until oil separates.
- Beat curd (dahi) with a spoon. Add curd in mutton gravy & mix well.
- Add gram masala,& coriander masala, & stir well.
- Add 2 cups of water, cover, and cook till meat is tender.
- Now grind green chilies & add their paste to the mutton, also add fenugreek leaves and cover for 1 minute. Turn Flame off.
- Delicious Mutton Korma is ready to serve & eat.
Garnishing:
- Garnish with fried onion & fresh coriander leaves.
- Take 1 green chili & place it on top of the bowl.
Serve with :
- Serve with fresh roti ( wheat bread), naan (flour bread), rice, pulao, or with everyone's favorite biryani.
