Sometimes we want to make a simple dinner either because of time or whether we don't want to do more.
At that time you should try this wonderful Egg curry recipe which is easy to cook, consumes less time but gives the best taste.
So without wasting a single second. Let's get started.
Time required 30 minutes
Servings 4 to 5 persons
Ingredients
- Eggs:8 to 10
- Sliced Onions: 2 medium
- Tomatoes: 2 medium
- Ginger Garlic paste: 2 tsp
- Red chili powder:1,1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1tsp
- Salt: according to taste
- Green chilies chopped: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds powder: 1tsp
- Dried fenugreek leaves:1tsp
- Black pepper:half tsp
- Water: half cup
- Green chilies sliced: 2 to 3 for garnish
- Fresh coriander: chopped for garnish
Recipe
- Boil eggs for 8 minutes or until done.
- In a pot heat oil add onion & fry till light golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till golden.
- In a blender add fried onion, tomatoes, chopped chilies &blend to make a fine paste.
- Again add this paste to the oil. Add all spices to it & cook for 5 minutes.
- Now add water mix well & cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until oil separates.
- Add eggs & mix gradually for 1 minute.
- Cook on low flame for 4 to 6 minutes.
- When the covering of oil comes on the top. Egg curry is ready.
Garnishing:
- Garnish with green chili slices & fresh coriander.
Serve it:
- Serve Egg Curry with White Rice, Zeera Rice, Pulao, or Naan chapati.
- If you want to double the taste then serve with a great smile.
