So without wasting Time let's get started.
Time required: 40 minutes.
Servings: 4 to 7 people.
Ingredients:
- Chicken: 1kg
- Onion sliced:2medium sized
- Tomatoes: 7
- Ginger:half or 2 tsp
- Garlic: 10 to 15 pieces or 2 tsp
- Green chilies: 6 to 8 chopped
- Salt: according to taste
- Red pepper powder:2 tsp
- Turmeric powder :1 tsp
- Red chili flakes:half tsp
- Chopped coriander & green chilies for garnishing
Recipe:
- Boil chicken for 15 minutes.
- Add onion & oil to a wok. fry onion for 1 minute then add chicken, mix well &cook for 5 minutes.
- Blend ginger & garlic to a fine paste.
- Add this paste & mix continually for 3 minutes.
- Add green chilies. cook till the chicken gets a golden color.
- Blend tomatoes & make a paste.
- Add this paste to the chicken.
- Add Red pepper powder, turmeric powder, and salt & mix them thoroughly.
- Cook till dries. Chicken should be more tender than normal.
- Delicious Balti Ghost (Balti Chicken) is ready.
Garnish with:
- Garnish with fresh coriander & green chilies.
Serve it:
- Serve hot with naan, Afghani naan, roti, Turkish bread, or paratha.
