Stuffed Bell Pepper Recipe | Baked Bell Pepper Recipe

Bell Peppers or capsicum is incredibly good for our health. Bell peppers are rich in many vitamins and antioxidants, particularly vitamin C and various carotenoids. For this reason, they may have several health benefits, such as improved eye health and reduced risk of several chronic diseases. All in all, bell peppers are an excellent addition to a healthy diet.

I have a very delicious but healthy stuffed Bell pepper recipe for you. Whether you are on a diet or not, try this recipe. You'll never regret it. 

Follow all the steps and enjoy a great meal.

Servings: 4 to 5 persons

Time required: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  1. Bell papers (capsicum):4 to 5
  2. Minced meat( beef): half kg
  3. Onion: 1 and a half chopped
  4. Tomatoes: 2 to 3
  5. Green chilies (chopped ): half cup
  6. Ginger Garlic paste:  1 tsp
  7. Ghee or oil: 1 cup
  8. Red Pepper Powder:  2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
  10. Salt: according to taste
  11. Eggs: 2 

Recipe:

Step 1

  • Chop onion, tomatoes, and green chilies.
  • Add onion to oil, and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste to the onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and spices to the Fried onion, add some water, and Cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Now add minced meat and cook for 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Stuffing is ready. Just add green chilies and mix.

Step 2

  • Wash bell peppers and cut them into two halves.
  • Steam them for 15 minutes or until half did. 
  •  If you don't have a streamer,  then use a strainer. (add some water to any pot and place the strainer on it. Add bell peppers and steam.)

Step 3

  • After steaming stuff peppers with meat stuffing. Add 1 tsp of beaten eggs to them. (Skip eggs if you don't like them.)

  • Heat oven. 
  • Grease oven tray or plate.
  • Place capsicum or bell peppers in it.
  • Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 180° or according to the manufacturer's directions.
  • Dish out deliciously baked peppers and serve with naan or homemade bread(roti).
