Aloo ka ParathaTime required: 30 minutes.
Servings: 5 to 7
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour: 2 to 3 cups
- Oil: 1 cup
- Potatoes boiled: half kg
- Salt: according to taste
- Red pepper flakes: 1 tsp
- Fenugreek leaves: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves: 1 and a half tsp
- Mint leaves chopped: 2 tsp
- Black pepper: half tsp
- Green chilies chopped: 1 tsp
Recipe:
- Take flour into a big bowl. Add salt, and oil, and mix.
- Gradually add water and mix. Add little water.
- Mix flour until it all comes together.
- Now knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- The dough is ready. Set it aside for 10 minutes.
- Now filling
- Slightly mashed boiled potatoes.
- Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, fenugreek leaves, and green chilies and mix.
- After mixing veggies add spices like red pepper flakes, coriander powder, black pepper powder, and salt, and mix.
- Mix well for 1 minute.
- Our filing is ready.
- Make small dough balls. 2 small balls for 1 paratha.
- Roll them over.
- Spread dry flour and Place one roti on a rolling board add potatoes stuffing brush oil at the boundaries and Place 2nd roti on it. Press boundaries slightly.
- Place griddle (tawa)on fire. Heat for 1 minute.
- Spread some oil. Place paratha cook for 1 minute from 1 side.
- Flip it, brush it with oil, and cook the other side.
- Fry until both sides get golden.
- Yummy parathas are ready.
Serve:
- Enjoy your parathas with Chutney, Achar, or Dahi.
Laccha paratha
Time required: 30 minutes
Servings: 4 to 5
Ingredients
- Fine flour: 3 cups
- Oil:one cup
- Salt: according to taste
- Sugar: half tsp
- Water: as required.
Recipe:
- Make Dough as explained above.
- Make medium-sized dough balls.
- Roll them over. On the rolling board cut them into strips as shown below.
- Make dough balls again one at a time.
- Brush rolling board with oil. Place dough balls.
- Press them gently and spread with your hands. Don't use a rolling pin. Do this step with your hands.
- Add 1 tsp oil to the griddle and heat for 1 minute.
- Place paratha and cook for 1 minute.
- Flip it, brush it with oil, and cook the other side.
- Fry both sides until they get a golden color
- Crispy paratha is ready.
