Desserts are always loved by everyone. And when you want to eat something softest, I recommend you Rasmalai. The most delicious and yummy dessert.

So let's get started

Servings 10 pieces; Time required 30 minutes 

Ingredients:

  1. All-purpose flour: 2 tsp
  2. Baking powder: 1tsp
  3. Eggs beaten: 3 tsp
  4. Oil: 1 tsp
  5. Sugar: 1/2 cup
  6. Dry Milk powder: 1 cup
  7. Milk: 1liter
  8. Cardamom powder: 1 tsp
  9. Saffron: 2 to 5 
  10. Pistachio
  11. Almonds

Recipe:

  • In a pot add milk, sugar, saffron, and half tsp cardamom powder. Mix well and cook until sugar is dissolved (approx 5min) and set aside.
  •  In a bowl, add dry milk powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, cardamom powder, and mix well.
  • Add oil and mix well.
  • Gradually add egg and knead until dough is formed and refrigerate for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Take the dough and make small round balls and  slightly press them.
  • Make 8 to 10 balls.
  • Heat the milk and add balls one by one, cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Don't stir.
  • When balls get double their size, Rasmalai is ready.
  • Garnish with pistachios and almonds.
  • Refrigerate for 10  to 30 minutes and serve chilled.
