Firstly we make a mixture of flour, yeast, milk, etc. Then we dip sausage and cheese sticks in this mixture. Coat them with bread crumbs and fry. Aren't they easy?
Time required: 1 hour for preparation. 30 minutes for cooking.
Servings: 8 to 10 pieces
Ingredients:
- Warm water:¾ Cup
- Instant Yeast: 2 & ½ tsp
- Sugar :1 & ½ tsp
- Egg: 1
- Cooking oil: 1 & ½ tsp
- Salt :1 tsp
- All-purpose flour sifted: 2 & ½ Cup
- Rice flour: ¼ Cup
- Mozzarella cheese: 200g
- Sausages: 4 to 6
- Breadcrumbs :1 Cup or as required
- Cooking oil for frying
- Mustard sauce for serving
- Tomato ketchup for serving
Recipe:
- In a jug, add warm water, instant yeast, and sugar & mix well, cover & let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
- In a bowl, add this yeast mixture, egg, cooking oil, and salt & whisk well.
- Add all-purpose flour, and rice flour & whisk well, cover & let it proof for 1 hour at a warm place.
- Transfer liquid dough to a jar or glass.
- Cut mozzarella cheese into 1.5x2 inch sticks & set aside.
- Cut sausages in half & thread or skew them into a wooden skewer then thread or skew mozzarella cheese stick.
- Now dip the skewer into the prepared dough & coat with breadcrumbs (makes 8 to 10).
- In a wok, heat cooking oil & fry on medium flame until golden & crispy.
- Crispy hot dogs are ready.
Serve with:
- Drizzle mustard sauce, tomato ketchup, or chili garlic sauce & serve.
