Hey, Foodies, I'm here with an amazing snack recipe I.e Gol Gappa or Pani Puri.
They are fried round balls filled with potato and chickpea stuffing. Along with spicy, fragrant, and flavourful water(pani).
If you are Pakistani or an Indian you already love Gol Gappa or Pani Puri. And for foreigners it's a tasty treat, just try for once and you gonna love them.
They have the easiest recipe, Yummy and tasty but having them outside it's a bit risky, unhygienic, and costly because we aren't eating 4 to 6 and that's it. We want more n more as they are our happiness. So let's get started. Make as many as you can eat.
Time required: 30 minutes
Servings: 15 to 20 pieces
Ingredients:
For puri:
- Semolina (suji): 1cup
- All-purpose flour:2 tsp
- Salt: 1/4tsp
- Baking soda: 1/8 tsp
- Water : half cup
For stuffing:
- Boiled potatoes: half cup
- Boiled Chickpea (channa): half cup
- Onion: chopped half cup
- Chat masala: 1tsp
- Salt: according to taste
For Pani (water):
- Mint leaves: 1/3 cup
- Coriander leaves: 1 cup
- Green chili: 4 to 5
- Ginger: 1 small piece nearly 1tsp
- Water: as required
- Black pepper: 1/2 tsp
- Red pepper powder: half tsp
- Chaat masala: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds powder: 1tsp
- Dry mango powder: 1tsp
- Black salt:1 tsp
- Imli water: 2 tsp
- Salt: according to taste
Recipe:
- Mix semolina, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Add little water, mix well then knead the flour well.
- Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Knead it again.
- Make small dough balls
- Now roll it over. they should be thin.
- Heat oil. fry them in hot oil.
- Add one by one. press with a spatula. they blow
- Fry one by one. fry for 1 minute.
- Yummy Gol Gappa is ready
Now it's time for stuffing and Pani.
Stuffing:
- Cut potatoes into cubes. Chop onion.
- In a bowl add Chickpea, onion, potatoes, and mix. Add Chaat masala, salt, and mix.
- Stuffing for Gol Gappa ( Pani Puri ) is ready.
Pani (water):
- In a blender add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, Ginger, and half a cup of water. Blend it into a smooth mixture.
- Strain this mixture in a bowl.
- Now add coriander powder, chili powder, cumin seeds powder, Chaat masala, Dry mango powder, black salt, and salt.
- Tasty and crispy Pani puri is ready.
Serving:
Take 1 piece of pani puri crack from the top then add stuffing and water and enjoy.
