So without wasting time let's get started. 

Time required: 3 hours For preparation,  half an hour for cooking 

Servings: 6 to 8 person 

Ingredients:

1. Mong daal Yellow lentil: 1 cup
2. Sugar:   1 cup or to taste 
3. Ghee or oil:  3/4 cup
4. Milk: one and a half cups
5. Water: half cup
6. Cardamom: 3  or 1 tsp powder 
7. Dry fruits: for garnish 

Preparation:

• Wash and soak yellow lentil daal mong for 3 hours.
• Strain yellow lentils. Sun dry for 5 minutes.
• Dry cook yellow lentils for 5 to 7 minutes.
• Grind yellow lentils coarsely and set aside.
• Cut dry fruits.

Recipe:

• In a big pan add ghee and let it melt. 
• Add grind lentils and mix well. Cook for 15 minutes on low flame.
• Mix well until oil separates.
• Add sugar and give it a good mix.
• Add cardamom or cardamom powder, mid-stir for 3 minutes.
• Gradually add milk and mix continuously.
• Add water and mix well. 
• Cover and cook on low flame for  20 minutes.
• Add dry fruits and mix well until it leaves m the pots.
• Gather with dry fruits and serve.

Serve with:

• Serve with the brbreakfast

Garnish:

• Add dry fruit to the bottom of a dessert cup, add halwa, and press top with a spoon.
• Place on a plate then remove the cup and serve.
